Death Certificate Certified Copy

Fee to obtain an authenication of a Doctor's Signature on a Death Certificate issued by the Health Department so that it can be used to obtain an Apostille.  The $20 certificate fee is included in the price.
 
If the Certified Copy of the Death Certificate was not obtained through the Registrar Recorder/County Clerks Office then it will need this Extra Step to be Eligible for an Apostille.

Be advised that if you go to the Registrar Recorder/County Clerks Office to Order a new Death Certificate in Person or by Mail the current processing time is about four weeks. This is currently the fastest way to get a certified copy of a vital record.
